Our unique trips give you the opportunity to take students (and staff!) from your local schools on a unique volunteering experience, branded to your CCO, at one of our partner schools in Ghana, Kenya or Zanzibar.
Students taking part need to fundraise their own travel costs, plus a donation to your CCO, which you can set.
The trip is organised from start to finish by African Adventures, though your CCO staff can travel on the trip as the group leaders. Students can help build new classrooms, deliver sports coaching sessions or teach in classrooms and will return home global citizens, with a determined and positive mindset.
By running the programme, your CCO will raise vital funds to support the work you carry out in your local community, whilst contributing to real change at our partner schools in Africa.

Sustainable development doesn’t happen overnight. Many of our groups want to build something long-lasting, and we lay the foundations to help make this happen.
How it works
Firstly, we help design your bespoke volunteer trip to Ghana, Kenya or Zanzibar. You can decide how much you want your participants to raise for your charity, which we add to the travel costs, so we have an overall package cost that the students need to raise in order to take part.
Then, you can decide what schools in your area you would like to invite to take part. We’ll help you with the initial approach and get the trip signed off by SLT/ governors. After the trip has been approved, we’ll help you promote it in your schools, and handle all enquiries and bookings for you. Students have to fundraise their own costs to take part, before your team heads out to Africa to make a lasting difference at your partner school, with memories to last a lifetime.
