Have you heard the good news!?

What’s the latest update?

Earlier this week, the Department for Education published new guidance which confirms that, from the start of the new autumn term, schools and colleges can go on international trips that were previously postponed, and organise new international trips for the future.

What does this mean for schools and colleges?

This means that schools and colleges can start planning new overseas trips for summer 2022 and beyond!

Most school and college trips have a lead-up time of between nine and 18 months, so get the ball rolling and start planning your African Adventure today.

The guidance from the Department for Education advises that schools and colleges ensure any new bookings have adequate financial protection in place.

Our Book With Confidence promise is designed to do just that, and means you can start planning a new trip with complete peace of mind.

To give you extra flexibility in case things change, our Book With Confidence promise includes:

  • Flexible Date Changes: If things change, you can postpone your trip dates for free up until 10 weeks prior to departure (minus any airline charges)
  • Full Cash Refunds: If we have to cancel your trip, you will receive a full cash refund, without any deductions
  • COVID-19 Cover: Our travel insurance, included as standard in our trip packages, includes cover for medical costs associated with coronavirus, or suspected coronavirus, whilst abroad. It also provides cover if a volunteer is diagnosed with Coronavirus prior to departure
  • ATOL Protected: All our trips are ATOL protected, so all money paid to us by you is secure

Do something amazing in summer 2022

With volunteers unable to travel for the past 16 months, there is a huge backlog of work that urgently needs completing at our partner schools in Ghana, Kenya and Zanzibar.

From supporting with teaching, to assisting with sports coaching sessions, and helping build new classrooms, toilets and kitchens, there is plenty to be done! Whichever volunteer roles you choose, you and your students will make a lasting impact by contributing to long-term sustainable development.

Give your students (and yourself!) something to look forward to, and start planning your 2022 adventure today.
