What is the Christmas Meal Appeal?
The Christmas Meal Appeal returns this year, with the aim of providing every child at our partner projects with a nutritious meal and festive celebration this Christmas time.
For many of the children who attend our partner projects, daily life can be challenging. Our partner projects are based in underprivileged communities, where education isn’t necessarily a priority, and access to regular meals is limited.
It costs just 50p to provide a child with a nutritious meal this Christmas, so anything you can spare has the potential to make a huge difference.
How does it work?
Donating to the Christmas Meal Appeal couldn’t be easier. You can donate via our safe and secure website, or by text.
Simply visit our webpage and choose a gift. We’ve made it clear what your donation will mean for the children at our partner projects, so you can choose how much you wish to contribute.
If you’re feeling extra festive, why not make your donation on behalf of a loved one? You can choose to personalise your gift with a message to your chosen recipient. They’ll then receive an e-card, delivered on Christmas Day, detailing the impact that their gift will have for the children at our partner projects.
To donate by text, simply text MEALAPPEAL, followed by the amount you would like to donate, to 70085. For example, by texting MEALAPPEAL20 to 70085, you’ll donate £20 to the appeal. Please be aware that if you do not specify an amount, a default donation of £10 will be made.

Aside from guaranteeing you a spot on the ‘nice’ list, your donation will make a difference to the lives of thousands of children in Ghana, Kenya, and Zanzibar this Christmas.
