African Adventures is proud to launch its schools competition, offering one winning school a free student trip to Africa.

Our mission-led programmes are designed to create meaningful, long-term impact — not just for the communities we partner with in Africa, but for the students who take part. For students, these trips are a powerful opportunity to step outside their comfort zones, develop cultural understanding, and grow into globally minded, socially responsible young adults.

Through our close partnerships with local schools and community organisations across Africa, students contribute to carefully planned volunteer projects that respond to real needs and support long-term development goals. At the same time, they build empathy, resilience, leadership, and a deeper understanding of their role in a global community.

Entering the competition is quick and easy. Teachers simply complete the short form below, and their school will be entered into the prize draw.

From international travel and accommodation to in-country support and volunteer activities, every aspect of the trip is thoughtfully organised by our experienced teams — allowing teachers to focus on what matters most: their students and the impact they make.

Trip Details

The 7-night trip will take place on 6th April 2027 (subject to flights). The winning school will select five students to take part, accompanied by the teacher who entered the competition and an additional teacher from the school.

The group will make a real difference by volunteering at one of our partner schools in one of our destinations (tbc), where they can help teach in lessons, coach sports, or build new classrooms.

Away from volunteering, they’ll have the opportunity to enjoy at least one of our adventure activities, getting the opportunity to discover everything that the destination has to offer.
